Keeping children and vulnerable people safe
Sanskar Kendras, Katha programmes, camps and Vanyatras bring children and families together. Their safety comes before every photo and every story we publish.
Our commitments
- We never publish a child's or vulnerable person's name, home location, phone number, medical details or school.
- Photos and videos of anyone under 18 need written consent from a parent or guardian; without it, they stay internal.
- Public maps show kendras and activities at village or chapter level, never the location of a home.
- Everyone who works with children — Kathakars, karyakartas and office bearers — is briefed on our code of conduct and knows how to report a concern.
- Any concern is handled by a trained Safeguarding Officer, confidentially, and the related content is taken off public pages at once.
How to report a concern
If you are worried about the safety of a child or vulnerable adult connected with our work, tell us the same day through the helpdesk (choose "Safeguarding"). In an emergency call 112; for a child in distress, call Childline 1098.
